Terms & Conditions

1. All dogs must have inoculations against Distemper, Hardpad, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Para-influenza, Parvo Virus and Kennel Cough. All Certificates  UST be up-to-date.

2. Honeybottom Kennels retains the right to refuse admission to any dog for whatever reason. Due to changes in the law, and our insurance, with regards to dangerous dogs act 2023, any dog we feel fits the dangerous dogs profile will be refused admission.

3. Whilst every possible care and attention is given to each animal boarded at these kennels, we cannot be held responsible for loss, either from illness or other causes

4. I give permission to Honeybottom Kennels to sign, in my absence, for any emergency vet treatment as necessary whilst in the care of the kennels. I understand that Honeybottom Kennels will make every effort to contact the emergency number I have supplied in order to give up-to-date information regarding any necessary medical care required by my animal

5. No dogs will be RECEIVED or RELEASED other than in normal day care business hours which are Monday to Friday 8.00 - 17.30, Saturday and Sunday 8.30 - 13.00.

6. Extended day care is available from 7.00 - 19.00 Monday to Sunday.

7. All deposits are non-refundable

8. All prices are subject to VAT (currently at 20%)

9. Day care fees are payable at the time of collection by bank transfer, cash or card ONLY

10. If a booking is made and no cancellation notice is given (i.e less than 48 hours notice), we will expect full payment for the period booked

11. All toys, etc are left at the owners’ risk. The kennels will not be held responsible for loss or damaged items

12. Although we take all precautions to ensure your dogs safety while playing with other dogs, accidents do happen. If you do not want your dog to mix with others please let us know.

13. Bitches in season are boarded at owners’ risk

14. Medication will be administered as instructed by the owner. We will not be held responsible if there are any adverse reactions to prescribed medications

15. All Animals are covered by our insurance. Our insurance covers accident or injury of an animal should it be deemed that we have caused the accident or illness. Our insurance DOES NOT cover pre-existing conditions or if something happens to your animal which is out of our control, i.e. strokes, fits, etc

16. I will notify Honeybottom Kennels of any change of personal details or medical conditions

17. GDRP - we will only use your details to make contact with you with regards to your bookings and nor for sales, marketing or promotional reasons

18. Social Media - from time to time we may take photos of you dogs while they are staying with us and use the photos on social media. Photos will only be published after your dog has gone home. If you do not wish for your dog to be photographed, please score through and initial point 18.

19. Once my dog has been assessed, I am happy for my dog to be mixed with other friendly dogs while at Honeybottom Kennels Daycare, if not, please let us know.

20. I understand that the inherent risk of free dog play is a puncture that may or may not require stitches, a nick on the ear that may bleed, scrapes and scratches. All of these can occur from normal dog play. Remember dogs play with teeth and claws which is normal for all dog play. Any such situation arising will be dealt with by our team. However, we stress that all dogs attending Honeybottom Kennels Daycare will be at the owner’s own risk.
